The Ivy Barn is a family run bed & breakfast in the heart of the delightlful village of Holbeton, nestled in the South Hams countryside.

We are just two miles from the coast and the unspoilt sandy beach of Mothecombe. The vibrant Cities of Plymouth and Exeter are 10 and 35 miles away and the ever popular Dartmoor National Park is only 6 miles away on the otherside of Ivybridge . We are also very well placed for an overnight stay for people travelling to Spain and France via the Plymouth Ferry Terminal.

The Ivy Barn is right in the heart of this quaint little village so with two pubs, post office, general shop and magnificent church on our doorstep, it couldn´t be a more convenient.

Our solid stone barn was converted in the 1980s to form 7 letting rooms. All rooms have been recently refurbished and now offer modern, comfortable self-contained en-suite holiday accommodation.

The Ivy Barn is situated in an unspoilt area of South Hams and an ideal spot for those who love nature in all seasons. The coastal path nearby offers magnificent sea views and is much loved by walkers, bird watchers, artists and photographers.

We are happy to accept well behaved children and dogs, although dogs are not permitted in the Breakfast Room.
