The Maple Inn reverted to its traditional name in October 2011 and has been under new ownership since November 2012. It is now a warm welcoming pub offering good home-made food and en-suite overnight accommodation. It is open 7 days a week and serves food from 12 - 3pm and 5 - 9.30pm (Mondays-Fridays) and 12 - 9.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There is free wi-fi on Wednesday evenings pub bingo and on Thursday evenings a pub quiz. The pub is ideally placed for walkers and cyclists using the South Downs Way Hangers Way and Shipwrights Way.
