In total, there are 10 distinct layouts to choose from, each tailored to accommodate a specific number of guests, ranging from one to four people, depending on individual preferences. The rooms are designed to evoke the serene atmosphere of Kyoto, with meticulous attention to detail given to every aspect of the space, from the furniture and bedding to the smaller details such as in-house clothing, tea, and incense. This thoughtful approach ensures that guests can unwind and relax in comfort during their stay.
Amenities
The Kadensho hot spring tour commences at the large bathhouse, "Heian no Yu", and proceeds to five private bathhouses, each situated along the scenic "Yumeguri Koji" (Yumeguri Alley). Three of these private bathhouses, renowned for their uniqueness in Kyoto, feature open-air baths, offering guests a diverse range of bathing experiences. In addition to the bathhouses, the facilities also include an in-house Yukata shop, souvenir shop, and pillow shop (pillow rental) for guests convenience. Parking is available on site, with 27 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dining
The Kitayama Yusui gourmet alley is a tranquil restaurant featuring a series of private rooms where guests can unwind. The dinner menu at Kitayama Yusui showcases the "Shiki Yuzen", a seasonal kaiseki course that highlights the concept of one soup and five side dishes, as well as an à la carte buffet with "Selectable Obanzai" and "Hot Tempura". For breakfast, guests can indulge in a traditional Japanese set meal, featuring local Kyoto-style dishes. This unique culinary experience allows guests to savor the flavors that Kyoto is renowned for. Additionally, for dinner parties, the Katsura Chaya restaurant offers an intimate setting overlooking the garden, providing a serene atmosphere for special occasions.
