When you decide to come to Scotland whatever the season we will be delighted to welcome you to our home in Kingussie. Although Homewood Lodge is our home it is also a place where we pride ourselves on creating a peaceful friendly relaxing atmosphere for your stay with us. Your comfort and satisfaction are our priority with informality also being our watchword. The house is centrally heated and all the rooms are beautifully decorated and colour co-ordinated providing comfortable accommodation to a very high standard. The Lounge is a restful peaceful room stylishly decorated with superb uninterrupted views of the CairnGorms. You can relax read or plan your day's itinerary using our sources of local information or with the help of the maps from our large collection. This is where you can come in the evening after dinner to enjoy a log fire on cooler evenings chat about the events of the day or just enjoy the magnificent views. The Dining Room an essential room for any enjoyable holiday is where you start the day with the traditional breakfast of your choice. If a full traditional breakfast is a little daunting for you lighter alternatives or continental breakfasts are available. In the evening you can enjoy a five course dinner for which whenever possible only the best of Highland produce is used. Our menus changed daily offer wholesome and imaginative dishes rounded off with home made desserts and delicious Scottish Cheeses. We also provide a packed lunch if you intend to have an "activity" day.
All the bedrooms at Homewood Lodge have the facilities expected from an establishment of this quality. Each room has an en-suite shower room colour television hospitality tray hair dryer and hot water bottle - which we hope you will not need.
The gardens are large pleasantly secluded with superb uninterrupted views across the Spey Valley to the Cairngorms. Our private drive leads to ample off-road car parking space for all our guests. We also have a drying room just in case the weather is not as kind as it should be.
