Owned by John and Sharyn Snell Ixworth House currently has three spacious en-suite bedrooms available for B & B guests. The rooms have been decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Two rooms are en-suite shower rooms whilst the third room has a roll top bath with a shower over. A warm welcome awaits those travelling either for pleasure or business. A good Nights sleep in one of our supremely comfortable beds a luxurious shower or wallow in the roll-top bath (Bedroom 3) then savour a delicious breakfast in our chic and elegant Dining Room (or if you need to depart early for a meeting enjoy our On the Move picnic) which will set you up for a great day. Ixworth House has ample off road parking and stands within generous grounds of approximately three quarters of an acre. It offers a quiet peaceful stay. Within less than 5 minutes walking distance the village of Ixworth has a choice of two public houses both serving food. Alternatively a reservation can be made for a table at Theobalds an excellent restaurant which provides a superb menu with seasonal dishes. The award winning Leaping Hare restaurant of Wyken is just a few miles down the road. Additional restaurants and places to eat can be recommended and are within a short drive of Ixworth. During the day the High Street Café offers a full range of snacks and light bites. A good range of friendly village shops includes a newsagent boutique antiques butcher/general store and the Post Office. We also have two hairdressers a beautician and a dressmaker.
