The hotel Ullensvang is one of the most famous hotels in Scandinavia. It has been owned and run by the Utne family since 1864 when it was a small guesthouse. The famous composer Edvard Grieg found inspiration for some of his most well known pieces while relaxing there and his humble cabin still remains in the garden of the hotel overlooking the fjord.
