Family owned and run 17th Century village freehouse with new bed and breakfast roooms. Warm and welcoming traditional bar and restaurant serving freshly prepared pub fayre and local ales. Located within the pretty village of Shimpling and surrounded by fields and spectacular views we are an ideal base for anyone visiting the area. Please note that the restaurant is closed Sunday evenings and the pub does not open on Mondays. We serve a hot cooked breakfast 8.30-9.30am using sausages from our own kept pigs eggs from our hens and local produce where possible. If you rise earlier or later we also lay out toast and local jams friut bread cereal fresh fruit and juices fro you to help yoursef to at your leisure.
