The house was built in the mid 1700s and retains many original features including the inglenook fireplace and beamed ceilings and has been operated by the current owners since 2001. We aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. We have four rooms in total 3 doubles and 1 twin. All rooms are fully en-suite with shower facility TV tea and coffee facilities central heating and wireless broadband. We are registered with Visit Britain Visit Norfolk Enjoy England and Enjoy East of England and maintain a 4 diamond award. Come and explore a beautiful corner of West Norfolk that is forever England; countryside as it should be. We are ideally situated in the village for all amenities. The Castle and Cluniac Priory are both a short walk and are maintained by English Heritage and not to be missed. St James the Great Church a handsome Norman church right next door; The River Nar a brown trout river is only a 5-minute walk and there are several short walks which are described in the books we have available in the Tea Room.
