The Crown was first licenced in 1697 and traded under the name the Crowne Inn. Over the years it traded under several names Crown Tavern Caroll s Crown Hotel the last named was probably a nickname as it was owned by a Mrs Helen Caroll. Also known as the most haunted of all the pubs in Poole. The building is grade 2 listed We are only 15 mins away from the train station and the ferry crossings to Cherbourg and Channel Islands Bournmouth airport is only 40 min drive.
