The Greyhound Inn is the only pub in the historical Somerset village of Stogursey. The village lies 3 miles away from the A39 and a 15 minute drive from J24 on the M5. In addition to The Greyhound Inn there is a post office a general stores primary school sports fields a fantastic church and a Landmark Trust Castle with a moat. Not far away are the hamlets of Burton Shurton and Stolford which make up the Parish of Stogursey. Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Stations A B and C are within easy commuting distance and continue to provide important employment in this mainly agricultural area. We have a sports bar hosting our darts and skittle teams where you can watch BT sport for free. Our front lounge has a log burning fire which keeps the room cosy and comfortable whilst relaxing on the soft leather settees in the winter months and our dining area is used for a variety of events including our regular quiz open mic nights and for our live music nights. This room can also be used for meetings and family events. These can be complemented with buffet food and drinks. Our 30 seating restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday serving delicious home-cooked food at lunchtimes evenings Wedensday to Saturday and on Sunday we serve delicious roast dinners with sittings at 12:30 and 2:30pm.
