In the summer time swimming off the rocks is available everywhere and there are also a dozen or so small sandy beaches around the coast. Due to its very central position on the east coast Harbour View is the ideal base for travel around the Maltese islands. Buses to all parts North (including Gozo) are within 90 metres of Harbour View and buses to all parts South are within 250 metres. Public transport is inexpensive and there are many different routes available.
