The Lodge offers guests a unique opportunity to stay in this tranquil spot overlooking the RSPB Brading Marsh Nature Reserve. The recently refurbished wooden cabin is set in the grounds of The House on the Marsh and has one double bedroom a kitchenette/sitting room with extra bed and shower room. Guests can enjoy the beautiful views from the veranda or watch the wildlife from the private bird hide in the garden. Guests are provided with a daily breakfast hamper which includes yoghurts cereals bread pastries milk tea/coffee fruit orange juice and homemade cake on arrival. All your linen and towels are provided together with complimentary toiletries. The Lodge is in the countryside but only a few minutes drive to wonderful beaches at Sandown Priory Bay St Helens and Bembridge Harbour. It is popular with bird watchers cyclists walkers families and couples. Private off road parking for cars and bicycles. There are walks from the garden on the old railway track to Bembridge Harbour or on the newly upgraded River Yar footpath towards Bembridge Airport and Culver Down. Brading is the perfect spot from which to explore the Isle of Wight. You can even reach us by train Brading Station is only a few minutes walk from the house. Brading itself has a village store gift shops toy and doll museum a renown Roman villa a notable historic house churches fish and chip shop several pubs and a fine dining restaurant offering Scandinavian food. Alternatively you might like to visit The Pilot Boat Inn on Bembridge Harbour which we also own.

There is a private bird hide overlooking the RSPB nature reserve which guests are welcome to use. The Lodge is well equipped with a fridge kettle toaster hair dryer electric log burning stove games and puzzles flat screen tv dvds and games console. Table tennis is also available. Directions:
If travelling by car take the Wightlink ferry from Portsmouth Harbour to Fishborne on the Isle of Wight. From Fishborne follow the signs to Ryde and then to Brading Sandown. As you arrive in Brading you will see a car park on the left and large Church turn left immediately after the Church before the black and white building (chocolate shop). This is Quay Lane. Drive to the very end of the lane we are the very last house (The House on the Marsh). Please park on the drive.;
