Springfield Farm is a working farm run by Margaret Pinney combining the production of cereals potatoes and peas with a busy livery yard. Springfield Cottage has been converted to provide unique spacious comfortable accommodation with a large twin bedroom separate shower toilet and basin and kitchen/living room with a sofa bed. Couples families pets and horses are welcome and stables are available on the farm. The twin bedroom looks out on to a secluded garden and is large enough to accommodate a mattress or travel cot for children. All linen is provided for the twin beds and sofa bed towels for the bathroom and kitchen. The cottage is heated by an oil fired combination boiler and for use in the winter a wood burning fire. The living room is equipped with a television sofa bed and chairs Wi Fi is available on request in the farmhouse for ad hoc use. The kitchen forms part of the main living area separated by a raised floor and has a cooking hob fridge washing machine and breakfast bar looking out on to a secluded garden. Hampers can be provided to include milk eggs bread and butter and juice on request for a small charge particularly for late arrivals as local shops close at 5.30 p.m. Springfield Cottage is an ideal base to explore the local market towns of Market Rasen Louth and Horncastle and the historic city of Lincoln which is 15 miles away. Adventure activities locally include off-road vehicles trial bike fixtures horse riding and Cadwell Park 5 miles away. For more leisurely and relaxing pursuits walking sight seeing local churches and gardens in the quiet countryside is available from the back door of the cottage. Benniworth is on the Lindsey Trail which has mapped over 60 miles of footpaths and bridleways suitable for cycling horse riding carriage driving and walking.
