If you have never experienced the pleasures of an uninterrupted walk along one of the many golden beaches on the Isle of Harris you are in for a treat. If you are visiting the islands while based in Stornoway consider spending a couple of days down in Leverburgh and then jumping the nearby ferry across to the Uists to complete your tour. Many visitors to the Western Isles/Outer Hebrides miss this wonderful opportunity to visit these beautiful islands.
