The glamping pods tucked behind the pub are a stone's throw from some of the finest Cotswold countryside around. Each pod has an en-suite with shower kitchenette heating free high-speed WiFi and smart TV. Guests visiting The Norman Knight pub can enjoy fine ales lunches and dinners with a fabulous view of the village green and Whichford Hill beyond. With its Cotswold stone interior oak beams and flagstones the pub is full of character and old world charm. Two wood-burning stoves make it a cosy refuge for visitors in the cooler months. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff warm and welcoming. The creative seasonal menu is made from locally sourced fresh ingredients. The Norman Knight also has a well-earned reputation as a drinking destination. It offers a great selection of hand-pulled guest ales and ciders alongside popular permanent residents Hooky and its own Stratford-upon-Avon Brewery ales. It features in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide 2017 and is a previous regional pub of the year winner twice over. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep including the Macmillan Way which passes through the adjacent Whichford Woods. When arriving please be aware the pub is closed between 3:00pm - 6:00pm. The Granary is accessed via a small flight of stairs which unfortunately makes it unsuitable for guests requiring wheelchair access. The pods also have no wheelchair access at this time.

Directions:
From Oxford take the A44 north. Continue past the turn off for Chipping Norton and on to the A3400 as far as Long Compton. At the sharp left turn in Long Compton take the steep road up the hill off to the right signposted 'Whichford'. Follow this road up and round the sharp bend to the right and follow it all the way to Whichford. On arriving in the village you reach a T junction. Turn right and follow the road round. The Norman Knight is opposite the green.;
