Built by the Duke of Bedford in 1871 and today we are still maintaining the tradition of Cornish Hospitality. Let us look after you here at Wheatley Farm and experience bed and breakfast accommodation at its best. If you choose to stay in the Farmhouse you can look forward to enjoying the delights of home cooked food and personal attention. We extend a very warm welcome and offer high levels of service to everyone which is probably one of the reasons so many of our guests come back time and time again. We look forward to welcoming you to Wheatley Farm. Today at Wheatley Farm. Wheatley Farm was once part of the estate owned by the Duke of Bedford. The farmhouse and farm buildings were built by him in 1871. Our family have farmed at Wheatley since 1890 and our son Andrew will be the fifth generation. Many changes have taken place in the farming scene in that time from horse to tractor to today's computer controlled feeding systems. We now run the farm as a dairy unit and we milk our herd of Holstein Friesian cows every day at five in the morning and four in the afternoon even on Christmas Day!
