The B&B is run by mother and daughter Wilma Bruce and Kay Kuszpit former proprietor and manager of the St Leonards Hotel. 15 Shorehead is a former fishermans house providing shelter for 4 families in the original accommodation and can be dated to circa 1790. The property had a smoke house in the garden for the fisherwives to smoke the catch and they would sit in the courtyard mending nets and bating hooks. The house previously run as Harbourside B&B- has undergone extensive and complete refurbishment since changing hands in October 2013. Now a beautiful and tastefully decorated B&B with the rooms offering full en-suite shower rooms with quality fixtures and fittings. All rooms have top quality beds linen and towels. Hospitality products are provided for your comfort and a hospitality tray for the much needed refreshment at the end of a hard day. Your room is fitted with a flat screen TV/ DVD combo as well as a hairdryer ironing board and iron and a smart TV in the dining room for your convenience. Only 15 minutes by car and train from Aberdeen makes Stonehaven a popular destination for those seeking to experience the charm that Stonehaven and the immediate locale has to offer. Unfortunately due to the age of the building we are not able to modify it to enable us to provide accommodation for guests with mobility issues. All bedrooms are located on 1st and 2nd floors.
