Chaz & Jane Foulis welcome you to Southcliffe Bed and Breakfast Lynton. Southcliffe is a picturesque Lynton bed and breakfast situated a few minutes walk from the centre of Lynton the stunning Valley of Rocks and the famous Cliff Railway which links Lynton & Lynmouth. It is a perfect base from which to explore the Exmoor National Park coast and countryside on foot by car or public transport. We are also minutes from the South Coast Path. We have three king size rooms (two of which have balconies) two double rooms and one twin bedded room which can also be a super king room if desired. All of our rooms are ensuite and the two balcony rooms are at the front of the house and have stunning views over the village of Lynton and Exmoor. All of our rooms have Freeview televisions WiFi tea/coffee making facilities hairdryer complimentary toiletries good quality towels and other extras to make your stay with us more comfortable. We have two private car parks for the use of our guests one at the front of the guesthouse and one at the rear of our garden. We have five double rooms two of which have balconies and one twin-bedded room. All our rooms are ensuite. Our balcony rooms are situated at the front of the house and have views over the village towards Exmoor. They are slightly larger than our standard rooms and have the additional benefit of accessible balconies. Our standard rooms have views across our garden towards Hollerday Hill and are situated at the rear of the house.

We also have a comfortable lounge where guests can relax after breakfast to read the daily newspapers. We have information on walks drives local attractions and areas and we are more than happy to sit with our guests and help plan the day. In the evening guests are invited to relax with a glass of complimentary sherry in the lounge. We have a folder of local menus to help with choosing from the good selection of restaurants (most within walking distance).

From Minehead and Porlock on the A39 pass through Lynmouth following the signs to Lynton. After the sharp (and steep) hairpin bend come up through the town passing the Valley of Rocks Hotel and the Town Hall on your right. Southcliffe is a few hundred yards from the Town Hall just past the Post Office opposite Woods Antiques shop.;
