At the Pleasant Court guest house we have 4 rooms available for accommodation at excellent prices. Our property is located no more than a minute walk from the sea front and a few minutes walk to the High Street this ideal location makes us a perfect place to stay for tourists and business stayers alike. Nearby we have the famous Southend pier the longest pleasure pier in the world extending over 1.3 miles. Another famous location no more than a few minutes walk away is the Kursal dating back to 1901 it is now a bowling alley and casino. We endeavor to do what we can in order for our guests to have an enjoyable comfortable stay. I am able to fulfill most request that are within reason please contact me before your stay to arrange such requests ie an earlier check in or later check out or even to check if there is parking available at the time (which is advisable as we do not have our own car park there are often spots on the road we are situated on or the 7 slot bay opposite the guest house but as we are so close to Southend center and the sea front parking can be troublesome! so please contact me regarding this before your stay). Our building is an English Tourist Board listed facility and we are a 3 star accommodation with Visit England we have a 9.1 rating on Booking. com and received an award to show our progress! Each room is en-suite with showers (we have a room with a bath available) and include many of the facilities you come to expect from a small guest house. In each of our clean tastefully decorated rooms there is a TV fridge tea and coffee making facilities and we provide the milk tea coffee and biscuits free of charge which is replenished each day. We also have cereal and juice available at request (free of charge) since we are unable to offer a cooked breakfast.

Mobility Description:We have a ground floor room available (Room 1 the family room) which would be the most ideal for anyone who is wheelchair bound or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. There is a step that leads to our front yard and a small step to enter the house. Our 'Room 2' has a large shower area. Our 'Room 4' has a bath. 'Room 3' has a small en-suite bathroom with a smaller shower but large enough for most.
