In 2013 and 2017 we were delighted to be awarded the CAMRA award as joint WINNER of the Wester Ross PUB OF THE YEAR. As members of Slow Food UK our emphasis is on simplicity and flavour using high quality local produce freshly cooked just for you. Our home-cooked food uses the very best of seasonal ingredients from local suppliers to produce a simple tasty meal. Our 3 star graded bedrooms are simple and comfortable and we offer a choice of single superking double and twin rooms all with high quality beds enhanced by simple white bed linen and large fluffy towels. These rooms have ensuite or private bath or showers. There are no tv's in the rooms. We also have two Economy Rooms available one double room with a 5ft kingsize bed and one twin room. These rooms share a bathroom (bath only no shower) which is situated across the corrido
Our guest lounge offers sumptuous leather sofas & chairs to snuggle into and chat or to read the many books provided for your enjoyment. We also have guide books & maps for local walks and climbs and the weather forecast is posted daily in the pub. The hotel does not have television - but most of our guests find they prefer it that way! The ambience in the bar is warm friendly and welcoming. Directions:
From Inverness take the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge. At the Tore roundabout take the A835 (sign-posted to Ullapool). Continue on the A835 and after passing through the village of Garve turn left onto the A832 (sign posted to Kyle of Lochalsh and Gairloch). When you reach the roundabout at Achnasheen follow the A832 to Gairloch and after a further 10 miles you will reach the village of Kinlochewe. The hotel is on the left as you enter the village.;
