A friendly small arable farm which is next to the 15th Century Kirby Muxloe Castle. There are two lovely big comfortable ensuite rooms. This place is easy to get to and has a lot of parking. No automatic computer reservation is accepted for a same day booking - so if you need a 'same day' booking give Lynn a call on 07710016884 to check availability. In all other instances you can simply make a reservation online. Castle Farmhouse is an ideal place to stop if passing Leicester (Just 2 miles from M1 (J21a) or as a base to see many places of historical interest or even if you are working in the area. There's a large carpark right by the house. Lynn provides an excellent choice of breakfasts. There's a small gym and large garden with outdoor pool (summer). Good restaurant in Glenfield less than 2 miles away (Forge Inn) Each bedroom has TV Wi-Fi and Tea and Coffee making facilities small fridge with fresh milk and complementary fruit juices. Huge range of teas herbal and decaffienated. Also hanging space and drawers. Full set of towels soap/body wash shampoo and conditioner are all provided free of charge. Each bedroom has a small safe and hairdryer. There is also a small separate TV/Den for guests use. A travel cot and potty loo are available for young children. Lynn and David have a huge Old English Mastiff (Jedi Knight) and a Jack Russell terrier (George). So it helps if you are a dog lover! Guests may only bring their dog by special prior arrangement. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms and must sleep in a separate indoor area with their own bedding. There are quite a few horses on the farm plus some goats and hens for house eggs. For those of you who play there is the Kirby Muxloe golf club and Rothley quite close by. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. Swimming pool is heated & usually open from mid-May. POOL IS UDERGOING MAINTENANCE.. Call to check if the pool availability is important to you.

The pool is open and heated during the summer months. We also have a small in-house well equipt gym.

Coming up from the South get off M1 at Junction 21A. From the North get off M1 at J21 and go back up the motorway to J21A. Follow signs to Kirby Muxloe then down hill to the village. At the roundabout go left along Main Street. We are the first gate on the left. Big Hedge. Castle Farm and Olympus House signs at the entrance.
