Fordie Estate is a home from home in the heart of Perthshire. Managed as a traditional mixed sporting estate we can offer sporting packages to include red and roe deer stalking rough shooting and driven pheasants. Salmon and sea trout fishing are available on our beat of the River Earn and there are also 3 trout lochs which provide great sport in the summer months and excellent duck flighting from October onwards. Built in the late 19th Century the Lodge has a traditional feel. Accommodation is split between the main lodge house and our three holiday cottages in the courtyard to the rear of the property. The Lodge is available on a B & B or a half board basis with the services of a housekeeper and a chef if required. Maximum occupancy is 18 guests. There are also three self-catering cottages. The property is located 1.5hrs from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and is the perfect gateway to the Highlands and central Scotland. Whisky distilleries are also close at hand with Glenturret (the home of The Famous Grouse) just a 10 minute drive away and Tullibardine located not far from Gleneagles - around 20 minutes away. For golf enthusiasts there are numerous courses nearby including the renowned Gleneagles just 11 miles away.

All bedrooms are spacious and decorated in a traditional Scottish way; some with a touch of tartan or tweed. All bar one have their own bathroom whether en-suite or just next door.

Eco Policy:
With regards to the environment we operate a large scale redevelopment policy within our woodlands aiming to restore and maintain them to a high standard. We have 13 protected species on the estate who we aim to encourage to grow and develop here and our full time Biologist Steve runs a programme to nurture and maintain both woodland and wildlife. Further more we actively recycle all paper and plastic and are currently developing a hydro electric scheme to provide an alternative power source for the buildings.
