The Crown & Plough is the last remaining pub in Long Clawson built in 1736 it has and air of charm with its open fire and low ceilings. The pub is family run where there is evidence of pride in everything from the local beers to the freshly cooked and prepared food. Guests are welcome to book in for dinner just contact us when you book to make sure we can fit you in there are sample menus on our website. If you are arriving late just let u know and we will do our best to accommodate you. The rooms are all beautifully finished with Complimentary toiletries tea and coffee facilities free wifi flat screen tvs. The rooms are locate in the courtroom adjacent to the pub. The Belvoir room boasts a huge bathroom that water comes out of the ceiling to fill the centre bath an a separate shower. The Quorn room next door (both rooms are on the first floor) has a spa bath with shower over and the Cottesmore on the ground floor has a four poster bed bath and a shower. The Snug has a shower only and is more suited along with the Cottesmore for people with access concerns. The Skittle Alley has a bath with shower over. We can accommodate up to 2 childrens 'put up' beds in some of the rooms please contact us to arrange this by phone email or facebook or any dietry or other requirements you may have.
