Avoca House is named after the famous Avoca valley in the next county Wicklow where the owner is from. The house is built circa the 1920s and retains the old features but has been modernised to the highest standards. The guests have their own stairs to acess their rooms. There is a supply of fresh drinking water on each landing. br / br / Each room has a shower toilet and sink. All toiletries are supplied. Each room has a hairdryer and access to an iron. Tea and coffee is standard in each room. There are 2 USB ports built into the electrical socket for charging your mobile phone. Rooms are cleaned each day. br / br / There is a garden to sit in in the back of the house. Here one can smoke or play chess or relax. There is also a sitting room to relax and watch TV. There is free WI-FI which can be accessed from most parts of the house. br / br / Hollybank road where we are situated is a very wide road in a quiet old well established area. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop where buses run every three minutes to the centre of Dublin city. The house is fire certified with cameras to the front and back for total security.
