Day 1: Jakarta
Upon landing at Jakarta airport and clearing arrival formalities, you will be greeted after Immigration and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Jakarta – Yogyakarta – Borobudur
After breakfast you will transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Yogyakarta. Arrive in Yogjakarta and transfer to your hotel in Borobudur (drive time approx. 1.5hrs).
Overnight at Plataran Heritage Borobudur or similar. Breakfast included.
Day 3: Borobudur
Set out before sunrise to visit the stunning Temple Complex at Borobudur, the largest Buddhist sanctuary in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then head to Candirejo village where you can learn about local life. The morning’s excursion ends with a lesson in Indonesian Gamelan music. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Borobudur – Yogyakarta (45 kilometres)
Visit a traditional Kris-Maker. The Kris is an asymmetrical dagger which can take up to one month to forge. Drive to Yogyakarta and visit the Sultan’s Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant and later, visit the Ratu Boko archaeological site. Continue to Prambanan Temple complex, one of the most beautiful Hindu temple complexes in Indonesia. Enjoy the dinner at your hotel.

Day 5: Yogyakarta – Mojokerto – Bromo
After an early breakfast, transfer to the train station for a journey to Mojokerto. Here you will board a local train and travel east through the volcano-dotted terrain to Mojokerto station (estimated departure time: 06:45 am). Your guide will accompany you on board. Disembark and transfer to Bromo, (drive time approx.. 3.5 – 4 hrs).

Day 6: Mount Bromo – Surabaya – Bali, Ubud
Early morning jeep ride to the platform of Mount Penanjakan to enjoy the spectacular views of the sunrise and the surrounding volcanic mountains. With its huge crater and almost mystical-like scenery in all directions, Mount Bromo and its surrounds are stunning beyond question. Sunrise is the most magical time to view the entire Bromo landscape but this does involve a very early morning start of 3 am as you travel by private jeep to the rim of Mount Penanjakan in time for dawn. From here you will have the best views not only of Mount Bromo, but also Mount Batok and Mount Semeru. After (hopefully) witnessing a spectacular sunrise, you will return to your jeep and make the steep descent back down to the bottom of the volcano and then cross the Lautan Pasir (Sand Sea) to the base of Mount Bromo itself. The climb of approximately 250 steps (For an additional cost, payable locally) it is possible to ascend the rim of the crater by horseback) to the rim of the crater is definitely worth the effort and you will be rewarded with yet more incredible vistas. Later return to your hotel for breakfast before heading to Surabaya International Airport for your departure to the Bali. Upon landing at Bali airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Ubud by private air-conditioned vehicle. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7: Ubud – Kintamani – Ubud
Visit three villages near Ubud known for their arts and crafts. Continue to Gunung Kawi, a Hindu temple complex northeast of Ubud. Proceed to Kintamani for views of Mount Batur and enjoy lunch overlooking the volcano. Stop at Goa Gajah in Bedulu, often referred to as the Elephant Cave, then on to Ubud Monkey Forest, a nature reserve and temple complex, home to hundreds of macaque monkeys.

Day 8: Ubud
Enjoy an exhilarating two hour rafting adventure on the spectacular Ayung River. Later, meet a local food specialist for a culinary discovery. Visit the famous Gianyar Night Market, where families eat delicacies such as Betutu mix (baked marinated chicken), sweet cakes, plus chicken and coconut balls. End the day at a local bamboo restaurant for a traditional ‘Megibung’ dining experience.

Day 9: Ubud – Mengwi – Tanah Lot - Seminyak
Visit Ubud, passing through the local market, bustling with activity, and then Ubud Palace. Enjoy free time to explore the shops and boutiques in town. Next, visit the town of Mengwi, home to the superb temple complex of Taman Ayun. With its spectacular location, Tanah Lot is a part of Balinese mythology, one of seven sea temples that form a chain around the Island.

Day 10: Seminyak, Bali
Enjoy a free day at leisure in Seminyak, Bali’s most fashionable beach resort.

Day 11: Bali - Komodo
After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to the island of Flores. Arrive at Komodo airport of Labuhan Bajo, and transfer directly to the harbour, where you will board a boat (Local Wooden Boat) for the Komodo National Park. Stop at a pristine beach for snorkelling or scuba diving. Afterwards, proceed to Rinca Island, the home of deer, horses, buffaloes, megapode birds and Komodos.
Overnight on board of the boat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 12: Komodo National Park
After breakfast, disembark and take a walk to spot Komodo Dragons. Back on board, sit back and watch the passing scenery. Arrive at Pantai Merah (Pink Beach) and snorkel in the clear waters, where you can see many different types of fish and possibly turtles. Continue to Kanawa Island where the boat will moor for the night.

Day 13: Komodo - Bali
Cruise back to Labuan Bajo and if time permits, take a short tour to Batu Cermin Cave. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Bali and visit the famous Uluwatu Temple, the temple has one of the most dramatic locations on the island. Continue on to Jimbaran Bay, famed for its seafood. You will have the chance to dine in one of Jimbaran's best beach restaurants overlooking the Jimbaran bay. The fresh seafood menu and ambient beachside location merge perfectly into a truly sumptuous dining experience.

Day 13: Bali departure
Enjoy the breakfast and some time in leisure before transfer to the airport for your flight.
