The name for the jungle resort, which opened in December 2019, couldnt be better, because “Haritha” means green in Sinhala. LOCATION
A nearly two-hour drive south of the international Colombo airport, the resort is situated in a charming hilltop position, surrounded by thick rainforest and tropical vegetation with a view of a rice field and it is only 3 minutes away from the beach (by complimentary tuk-tuk). The city of Galle is only 20 minutes away.

INFRASTRUCTURE
The resorts restaurant called The View is surrounded by a spacious terrace. Besides an a la carte selection of dishes from all over the world it also features unscripted dining and a farm-to-table concept. At the Infinity pool, light snacks and cool drinks are served during the day. The two-story Haritha Spa with 350 m² forms the core of the facility, a place of complete relaxation with specially developed Ayurveda programs- 7,14,21 days, pancha karma, singing bowl treatment, acupuncture and acupressure. Also, for massages and skin care treatments, world-class celebrity luxury products from Margaret Dabs and Elemis are being used.

ACCOMMODATION
The 9 spacious villas, equipped with every modern convenience, fit naturally into the lush, tropical nature. They all feature a personalized 24 hours villa master service and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar & wine fridge, safe, telephone, smartphone, IPad, Bose sound speaker, hairdryer, and bathroom with rain shower. The 7 Haritha Villas (110 m²) offer a spacious sleeping area, a small library, and an outdoor area with a terrace and dining area, private pool, lounge, sun loungers, and parasols. The 2 Colonial Mansions (191 resp 240 m²) are kept in colonial style and equipped with an additional dining area and second bathroom. A Colonial Mansion also has a second bedroom. The Colonial Mansions share a pool and can also be rented as a unit.

SPORTS
Free of charge: fitness room. Against payment: jungle trekking tours, yoga, surfing, diving.

SPECIAL
Surrounded by the resorts own tea plantation, In front of the waterfall and a lake, the spa is designed in a reduced Japanese style. An Ayurveda doctor is on site who will put together an individual treatment tailored to your needs.

SUSTAINABLE
The "Haritha Villas + Spa" was not only perfectly integrated in the construction integrates beautiful nature, but also takes care of its surroundings after the opening and promotes cooperation with the local area. So the care of the rice field and the own tea plantation was given to local people in the area local families, the fresh fish is obtained from local fishermen and the resort has its own garden for growing vegetables and herbs. Most of the ingredients for the kitchen are either produced in-house or from the related to the immediate vicinity
