Verney’s Camp is located within a private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. Positioned at Verney’s Pan, the camp is set on a vast floodplain surrounded by typical teak forests of the region. The waterhole near the camp attracts a variety of wildlife, serving as a favorite spot for Hwanges renowned elephant herds. Operated by the Machaba Safaris group, Verney’s Camp captures the essence of a classic African safari while catering to the affordable luxury travel market for both novice and experienced safari enthusiasts. 

Situated on the central side of the south eastern part of Hwange National Park, Verney’s Camp is a private concession of 10 000 hectares (24,7 acres). It is in a remote part of the National Park that is not accessed by regular Park visitors, however the camp does have access to the public parts of the National Park.
