Verney’s Camp is located within a private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. Positioned at Verney’s Pan, the camp is set on a vast floodplain surrounded by typical teak forests of the region. The waterhole near the camp attracts a variety of wildlife, serving as a favorite spot for Hwanges renowned elephant herds. Situated on the central side of the south eastern part of Hwange National Park, Verney’s Camp is a private concession of 10 000 hectares (24,7 acres). It is in a remote part of the National Park that is not accessed by regular Park visitors, however the camp does have access to the public parts of the National Park.
