Newton Hall is a part timbered 16th Century country house on a family run 140 acres stock farm situated amongst some of the most picturesque scenery in Cheshire. Chester is about ten minutes drive from the farm and Tattenhall village centre is within a mile where a wide selection of pubs bistros and restaurants are available. Both Beeston and Peckforton Castles are easily visible from the farm as are the Welsh mountains and the Bickerton Hills. Please Note Check In 16:00 Check Out 10:00.unless prior arrangemant has been made. Plenty of parking for guests. Stables and grazing available for you to bring your own horse and enjoy a riding holiday along the Bishop Bennet Way. There are also plenty of footpaths in the nearby Peckforton Hills for you to explore The Sandstone Trail. If you prefer a flatter walk enjoy a walk along the towpath of the Shropshire Union Canal which is less than 1 mile from the farm. Newton Hall is very quiet and peaceful although we do have some animals. These include 4 of our own horses Embassey Duke Ronnie and Lucy and 4 horses on livery. We have a much loved dog Belle who I am sure you will fall in love with and a cat Sooty. Our own Speckled and Ligh Sussex hens and one Bluebell Hen. 3 pet sheep one Shropshire Down and 2 Welsh Mountain. We are very accessible for Chester Races Carden Park Golf and Oulton Park. The City of Chester is a definate must with 'The Rows' tiered shops The Roman Walls and Ampitheatre and Cathedral.
All rooms are quiet and have views either onto the garden and across towards Beeston and Peckforton Castles or across the traditional cobbled farmyard. Digital televisions hospitality trays and soft towels.
Off road parking help with luggage. Lock up facilities for cycles. Stabling for horses overnight and grazing available if preferred. Secure tack room.

Directions:
From Chester take the A41 towards Whitchurch. After about 5 miles just after Hatton Heath turn left for Gatesheath. After 1 mile turn left onto Gatesheath Lane sign posted to Newton. Newton Hall is situated 1 mile on the left hand side just before the Newton crossroads. There is a Give Way sign at the top of the driveway.;
