Oaklands is situated in a leafy tranquil location with private off road parking on the edge of the attractive town of Bovey Tracey which is commonly known as "The gateway to the moor". An ideal location for somewhere to relax and unwind or to sample the many adventures of exploring South Devon's glorious countryside and less than 25 minutes away from the coast. Bovey Tracey is one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor with a number of unique visitor attractions and a good mixture of shops. A pretty cob and Dartmoor-granite built town situated on the River Bovey it is home to the internationally renowned Devon Guild of Craftsmen based in a 19th century water mill on the river. Other local attractions include the House of Marbles glass blowing and visitor centre the Craft Centre and the National Trusts Parke Estate. On alternate Saturday mornings the towns Farmers Market sells local produce.
All our beautifully decorated rooms at Oaklands are large bright and airy two rooms are en-suite and one with a large luxury private bathroom. We provide tea/coffee making facilities bottled water hairdryer towels and some toiletries fan heaters/coolers magazines and mint chocolates. The Delphinium and Agapanthus suite each have a sofa for your comfort. Our rooms are situated on the first floor in our lovely home and on a summers day have views of neighbouring farmland and countryside.
The breakfast room can be used by guests if they need to sit at a table to work or read.

Toast and homemade marmalade and jam. Special dietary requirements can be catered for - please advise us on booking. Where possible most food is locally sourced and our preserves are all homemade.
