Baglio Oneto is a resort located in Marsala countryside, just a few minutes from Trapani, Erice, from the Reserve of Saline and Mozia. The Baglio’s name comes from the noun "Baal" meaning the interior patio and also from the Latin "Vallum," fortress, stronghold.
The Oneto’s name derives from the family owners, winemakers, stemming from the Consul of Genoa Odinetto of which we have historical data since 1300.

The river valley Birgi called "sun belt", with its historic vineyard, that is from Mount Erice and Pizzo Cofano until the countryside and the houses of the city territory of Marsala and the western Capo Boeo.

Baglio Oneto was built in the end of the eighteenth century when, following the trade embargo against Spain by Napoleon, were valued the countryside vineyards in Marsala who were on the same parallel of the great vineyards of Spanish (sun band). Among the special guests who accepted, it is worth remembering the King of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III, who stayed there during his visit to Marsala 2 June 1943. The Resort has been designed and built while maintaining the architectural identity of the ancient Baglio, building new factories at a respectful distance because they were not altered integrity formal and the architectural image. The rooms are connected to the main building through a tunnel, arranged around a new courtyard. The conference room and entertainment, located on the opposite side rooms overlooking a large terrace overlooking the surrounding valley, the landscape of salt road, the islands of the lagoon, and the Egadi. The pool was built in the new outdoor patio, between the rooms and the baglio in a position where you can enjoy an exceptional view.
