Cockernouth is an old market town with wide sidewalks to stroll along and has many interesting shops and of a variety of restaurants to choose from. There is a bus service to and from the village to Cockermouth and from Cockermouth to the well known towns of the Lake District of Keswick Grasmere Ambleside and Windermere.

The Pippard Room with shower en suite & Dovers Loft with bath en suite Aromatherapy Associates toiletries and white soft towels. Both rooms have high quality beds with electric/overnight blankets to keep toes warm on chilly nights soft white sheets or duvets. Rooms have oak flooring with rugs flat screen TV hair dryer and black out blinds to ensure a good nights rest both rooms have tea & coffee facilities.

There is comfortable seating on the front terrace over looking a beautiful south facing garden and a garden swing on the lawn. Mobility Description:
Ditton Lodge is a bungalow however both the Pippard room and Dovers Loft are both 1st floor rooms and each is accessed by a flight of stairs. We do not have ramps a lift or handrails to facilitate those with any mobility difficulties.
