The Cross House Hotel right in the very centre of Padstow. Built on the pagan site of the old Maypole the house is much loved by locals and visitors alike and must be one of the most photographed buildings in the area. Being the current custodians of Cross House we take so much pleasure in sharing it with our guests and visitors who simply pop in for a peek at the victorian rooms or to indulge in a cream tea in the garden. Padstow is renowned as one of the least spoilt of the Cornish fishing ports. This harbour town characterises everything that is unique about a holiday on the British coast; the glorious sandy bays the breathtaking views the bustling waterfront and bracing air. As you would expect from a coastal town seafood is a not to be a missed experience. Padstow offers many excellent eating experiences including the world renowned Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. There are a wide range of local attractions to ensure that you are never at a loss for something to do be it as simple as taking a walk along the beautiful coastal foot path a cycle on the famous Camel Trail enjoying a film at the historic cinema or visiting the beautiful Elizabethan Manor House Prideaux Place. Travel a little further and you'll find the lovely fishing village of Port Isaac and the world famous Eden Project. For the more energetic there are many opportunities to enjoy golf horse riding fishing and of course a wide range of water sports. The Cross House Hotel is always happy to offer advice on other seasonal attractions to help you make the most of your holiday in Cornwall. We have two guest lounges which offer a peaceful and relaxing space to either unwind after a busy day on the beach or perhaps for an evening drink in front of the fire before a stroll to any of Padstow's famous restaurants.
