Tinkers Furze is an original Pool and Sons house dating from the 1920s situated in the Blue Triangle conservation area in Fleet close to town centre and 5 minutes from the station by taxi. It is a non-smoking household (smoking is permitted on the patio outside). French and German spoken. No pets please. The bedrooms are spacious (two with French windows onto balcony) and with views over the extensive garden. All bedrooms are en suite (apart from one which has a private bathroom with bath and shower) all rooms have TVs tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. It has a large well-maintained garden which visitors are welcome to enjoy. Wifi broadband access is available in all bedrooms. It has been awarded an Excellent grading by the Food and Hygiene inspectors and also been graded excellent in a recent Fire Safety inspection. Tinkers Furze is convenient for Farnborough Airshow and there are several National Trust properties nearby some with open air concerts and opera performances in summer. We are located near to Caesars Camp complete with (remains of) a Roman camp on top of the hill and very close to Fleet Pond is the largest lake in Hampshire - a popular haunt of wildfowl. It is convenient for Elvetham Heath Waterfront and Ancells Farn business parks. Basinstoke Canal runs through the area and is a popular area for walking cycling boating picnicing and fishing. Explore the ruins of King Johns Castle (believed to date from the 13th century) at North Warnborough Visit the many country pubs some with excellent menus as well as a range of restaurants covering all types of cuisine in Fleet.

Our food supplies are as far as possible locally sourced homemade or garden produce. Our sausages are 97% pork from outdoor reared pigs we plan to start beekeeping and have coops ready for our own chickens.
