Setting the scene…
Sandpearl Resort, situated on 700 ft. of the white sands of Clearwater Beach gives a sensation of beauty, peace and relaxation. Immediately as guests enter the hotel they have the impression of luxurious comfort, which continues outside onto the lush lawns and the poolside terrace, where palm trees provide shade. It is hoped that guests will find time to appreciate Mother Nature and return from their vacation feeling totally refreshed.

Located on Clearwater Beach, the Resort is within easy access of Tampa and neighbouring St Petersburg. Guests arriving by boat can take advantage of the private dock.

Facilities & amenities…
The resort has a climate-controlled, zero-entry lagoon-style pool (set to a comfortable 84 degrees Fahrenheit) where poolside staff, bar and meal services are available. The private white-sand beach is where guests can hire beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as beach sports equipment. The on-site fitness centre is an alternative place for exercise, but for ultimate relaxation the Sandpearl Spa offers a diverse range of ocean-themed treatments administered in a tranquil setting.

Experience one of the resorts enrichment programmes and explore the natural wonders of the beach. See how the Clearwater Marine Aquarium care for rescued dolphins and sea turtles or join a trip on the Sea Life Safari and journey into the beautiful Intracoastal waters. Guests can see dolphins, sea birds and other marine life and have a hands-on experience. They can learn about the environment on a kayaking excursion or try their hand at taking the helm on the 60ft windjammer, ‘Tradewinds’.

Dining...
Caretta on the Gulf is the only 4-Diamond restaurant in the city and is also renowned for serving Sunday brunch. Guests can eat indoor or al fresco overlooking the beach. The gulf-front, Tate Island Grill offers a more casual setting with the most amazing sunsets. Located just off the lobby and with an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and the gulf, Marketplace prepares light ‘take away’ meals, snacks and beverages.

For kids…
Whilst the kids will love splashing around in the pool and experiencing sand between their toes on the private beach, the resort also has some activities arranged specifically for them. Camp Ridley, complete with its own lively mascot, is an enjoyable activity based club for youngsters aged 5-11. They can have lots of fun with arts and crafts or scavenger hunts or enjoying the natural environment all around.

For some family fun, they can challenge each other to a game of chess on the large outdoor board!
