Overview

Canfranc Estación, a Royal Hideaway Hotel 5* welcomes guests in a historical Huesca railway station. Opened in 1928, it was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2002, becoming part of the Historical and Cultural Railway Heritage. Canfranc International Station is one of the most important railway complexes built in Europe in the first third of the 20th century. Barceló Hotel Group has recovered this icon located in the Aragonese Pyrenees through a rehabilitation project in which its DNA has been respected, converting the historic emblem into an icon of the 21st century.

Canfranc Estación, a Royal Hideaway Hotel has 104 rooms designed with warm and elegant spaces that merge with subtle art deco elements to create contemporary and nostalgic atmospheres, where noble materials such as wood and brass, rich fabrics such as velvet and a chromatic range inspired by the 1920s stand out. Also noteworthy is the integration of Aragonese popular culture in certain textile elements and with colours inspired by the rich and varied regional costumes of the area. Fully equipped, the hotel rooms feature premium amenities.

One of the characteristics of this charming hotel is its excellent gastronomy, a project led by two figureheads in Aragonese haute cuisine: Eduardo Salanova and Ana Acín. Canfranc Estación, a Royal Hideaway Hotel offers a restaurant where you can enjoy the Royal Breakfast concept as well as 2 other restaurants, gastronomic and a la carte, for which two carriages have been restored following the classic style of the twentieth century.

The first floor of the hotel is home to the Wellness Spa with a heated pool and fitness area, as well as the library where you can enjoy a cocktail bar unique to the area. The hotel reception is located in the stations historic lobby.
