A refurbishment programme 10 years ago has transformed Kelson Lodge from a 1960's bungalow into a very comfortable contemporary home. We offer two spacious double bedrooms one with en suite facilities the other with a private adjoining bathroom. Both bedrooms have TV dvd player hospitality tray and hair dryer. Wi-fi access is free. Kinross town centre is less than a mile away where there are shops hotels pubs and a number of excellent restaurants. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool a gym and a library in addition to a choice of walking and cycling to suit all ages and abilities. The Loch Leven Heritage Trail is a very do-able walk around the shores of Loch Leven and many activities are available locally including golf (with St Andrews and Gleneagles both within an hour drive) fishing on the renowned waters of Loch Leven for the indigenous brown trout Scottish Gliding Union headquarters and airfield hot air ballooning microlight flights and RSPB Loch Leven. The views across Loch Leven to the Castle Island are arguably the best in Kinross-shire. From April to October a ferry runs from the Pier to Loch Leven Castle this is operated by Historic Scotland and there is a small charge. Our check in period is generally 1400 to 1800 however this can be earlier/later by prior arrangement.

Our rooms enjoy breath-taking views of Loch Leven and the Castle Island. Both rooms are of a generous size and are tastefully furnished. A fridge is provided for the use of guests.
