Dating back over 200 years Dan-y-Castell is a three bedroom cottage of immense character built partially from the remains of Builth Castle. The cottage is entered by a huge porch and then through an old stone arched door into the living room where a beautiful open fire awaits. The cottage flows from the living room into the dining room and on into the kitchen and garden. Upstairs There are two large bedrooms and one single bedroom allowing up to 5 people to sleep and a spacious modern bathroom with bath and shower. Outside the property offers private off road parking and at the rear a beautiful garden with decking gas barbeque and views over the castle one side and the Cambrian mountains to the other. A perfect place to relax. This property is unique in that it is very close to the town centre with its shops and restaurants but feels like its in the countryside and is very quiet with sheep grazing the castle field next door. It is the closest holiday cottage to the showground and is brimming with character. The property is in a quite square and has private parking for one vehicle directly in front of the cottage and additional vehicles can be parked 30 yards away in a private car park free of charge with supplied permits. This property is ideal for holiday and/or business lets. We can even arrange for daily or half weekly cleans if required.
