The Woolpack Inn has seven recently refurbished and beautifully appointed double en-suite bedrooms named aptly after game birds. With a heavy emphasis on home comfort each of our rooms is stylishly decorated and comes complete with: King size or twin beds; Quality bedding and fluffy towels; Luxurious Bramley toiletries; Tea & coffee making facilities; Fridge with fresh milk; Hair dryer; Flat screen television; WiFi internet access; Gun cabinet; Safe available on request; A hearty full English breakfast (included in the room rate). Our kitchen team works hard to prepare a fresh exciting and seasonal menu. The menu regularly changes keeping the core classics and we offer a range of seasonal specials. The chefs make the most of our surroundings and our menu boasts a vast range of local produce from local game to trout caught in pristine chalk streams to watercress from nearby beds. In addition to our seasonal menus we also offer a range of traditional Sunday roasts with all the trimmings. We offer lunch and dinner seven days a week as well as a range of freshly prepared bar snacks. You can choose to dine in our bar area 50-cover restaurant or heated outside patio. We also have a private dining room which seats up to 14 and has its own garden. It is available for all styles of party. Our bar is the perfect place to relax and sample some of the great drinks we proudly serve. We are big believers in top quality real ales and offer our very own Ramshead brewed by the Marstons brewery as well as Palmers Copper Ale brewed in Dorset. Our third pump is reserved for local guest ales. Our wine list has a broader geographic reach and with the assistance of a range of suppliers we have an excellent global list complemented by our Fine Wine selection for those looking for something a little extra special. Shooting parties dogs families walkers and cyclists will all find a warm and friendly welcome.
We have eight newly refurbished en suite bedrooms and there are a mixture of single double and twin beds available. Bathrooms have either shower or bath. Rooms are well presented in a traditional fashion with fresh white sheets and fluffy towells provided. All rooms have plasma televisions and in the bathroom complementary 'Bramley' toiletries are provided.
With a heavy emphasis on home comforts all rooms include a hairdryer mini bar plasma screen television and DVD player tea/coffee making facilities and iron & ironing boards. Wireless internet access is available at the hotel. Walkers and cyclists are most welcome we can also accommodate dogs.

There is easy access from the car park through the back door and just one small step. Handrails will be fitted in the near future. At present we do not have any ramps or lifts fitted.
