The Allerdale Hotel is a Victorian villa built in the 1850's for an Admiral, now under the personal supervision of the Abbott family. It has been tastefully renovated to provide comfortable surroundings to ensure a relaxing break. Enjoy a pleasurable break away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but in walking distance of the beach and town centre. Nestled in spacious gardens, guests can sit and enjoy the peaceful sub-tropical surroundings. A private path from the gardens leads to the promenade (300 yards) and Torre Abbey sands. All rooms are ensuite with colour tv teamaking , hairdryer and free Wifi internet connection. All bedrooms are en-suite and some have sea views. Follow the A380 to Torquay, down to the seafront. Turn left at the sea and travel to next set of traffic lights. Take the left hand lane, go straight ahead up Shedden Hill, past Appleby's on your left. Take the next turning on the left down Croft Road. The Allerdale is a pale blue and white building 300 yards on the left side of the road.
