Newton House B&B is an attractive well presented and detached Tudor-style house in a quiet residential area of Torquay. It is situated on the main Newton Road opposite the Torre railway station. Newton House has 1 superior and 8 luxury en-suite guest bedrooms each with their own character. Newton House makes guests feel 'at home' right away. Guests can relax and enjoy the Lounge which provides a peaceful place for reading or for friends and family to quietly chat. There is a separate Dining Room to attract you with many interesting ornaments and pictures. To the front of Newton House are the beautiful Garden Terrace and Car Park. The Garden is popular with guests for its array of flowers shrubs fruits vegetables table/chairs/ parasol and Torbay Palm Trees. Nearby are Shops Town Centre Beaches Golfing Gardens Torbay Hospital and all amenities. There are many attractions in and around Torbay. Newton House avoids the noise and bustle of the town centre but is sufficiently near to be convenient for shopping dining entertainments etc. Wireless Broadband Internet and 24-hour recorded CCTV security make for convenience and safety for all. A large private car park is available to our guests. Children (all ages) are welcome. In recognition of its superior facilities decor cleanliness and high standards the AA has awarded Newton House the rating of 4 stars. Eco Policy:
Newton House recycles a high proportion of its waste and operates Green policies on heating lighting and water. Most of our lighting now uses long-life energy efficient bulbs and we encourage guests to turn off as many lights and appliances as is consistent with their needs and comfort. We routinely turn off all TVs and electrical appliances in guests rooms to protect against fire and save energy. We store large volumes of rainwater. 90% of the garden watering for plants and shrubs is by rainwater. We encourage guests to be economical with the Devon Water (particularly when using showers and baths. Towels and bedding are changed when required to reduce the pollution load on waterways. Central heating is always available when required and we monitor interior temperatures to optimise the heating and reduce wastage.

Tables are set with the Guests' room numbers and breakfast menus are available. Exit M5 at Exeter onto A380 to Torquay. Travel 15 miles to Penn Inn Roundabout. Take the second exit A380 through Kingskerswell. After Kingskerswell at a roundabout with " English Riviera" written in flowers on the left go straight ahead on "Riviera Way" A3022 (dual carriageway) for another mile or so.
