Where you’re staying isn’t the only thing you need to think about, though – you also need to decide when to travel and how long you want to be away for. Most holidaymakers stay in Queensland for 2, with July being the busiest month. If you want to avoid the crowds, consider travelling in January. As the quietest month of the year, it’s also when you’re most likely to score a great deal.

 

The final piece of the puzzle is deciding how to travel. Currently 26 airlines fly direct to Queensland, so you’ve got a bunch of options. Qantas, Qatar Airways and SriLankan Airlines are the three most popular airlines, and people seem to like flying into Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns.
