Cala dOr is, without a doubt, one of the most attractive enclaves in the southeast of the island of Mallorca, 11 km. from Portocolom and a neighbour of the coastal town of Portopetro. Due to its proximity to the hotel, the port of Marina de Cala d’Or invites you to take a walk around this attractive complex, on your way to the centre of Cala d’Or (2 km. away). Here – as well as all types of spectacular sail- and motor-boats – you will find a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops.

One of the jewels of this part of the Island is this Natural Park, which – without a doubt – is well worth a visit. It consists of two magnificent beaches with turquoise water: Cala Mondragó and Cala s’Amarador. A natural, unspoiled paradise, surrounded by pine trees.

Es Fortí is a military fortress from the 18th century, originally built to contain pirate attacks and which was declared a Heritage of Cultural Interest. It is located just 600 meters from the hotel, and offers spectacular views over the bay of Cala dOr. You can visit it for free and in summer, exhibitions or cultural events are common.
