With the sandy beaches in Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa's historic main plaza and restaurants all within a few minutes drive, this is an ideal family choice.

Accommodation

Finca Bennassar has brilliantly been restored with many of the original artefacts and features being maintained. This house has an individual character of timeless calm. The main entrance opens in to the spacious open plan living/dining room with interior stone walls and feature fireplace. In the dining area there is a large solid oak dining table. The lounge area has comfortable seating, Satellite TV, DVD player and French doors opening out on to the front terrace. To the rear of the lounge we find the well fitted kitchen which has electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and small breakfast area. A door leads out from here on to a covered dining terrace. To the right of the front door there is a pretty twin bedroom with a full bath/shower room adjacent.

The impressive staircase leads up to the galleried landing with 2 sofas, plasma TV with satellite - from this area there is direct access to the upper sun terrace with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. To the left of the staircase is a corridor that leads to a second twin bedroom decorated with  Mediterranean pastel coloured walls and the attractive master double bedroom which boasts a private sun terrace over looking the garden and pool area and far reaching mountains views. Both these rooms share a bath/shower room.  The fourth bedroom with double beds is located in a separate annexe which has its own external access, just to the right of the main front door. The  double bedroom is spacious and has an en-suite bathroom also with a walk in shower. The washing machine is also located in the annexe/utility area.

Designed for summer living Finca Bennassar has 1m thick exterior stone walls and earthen terracotta tiles certainly helping to provide a cooler feel to the house during those hot summer days.

Surroundings
Finca Bennasar is set admidst spacious grounds within which are almond and olive trees, flowers shrubs and plants. A special feature of Finca Bennassar is the front cobblestone terrace with an ancient well feature and centuries old algarobbe tree providing welcome shade. Just sit here in the evening soaking up the Mediterranean ambience whilst enjoying an evening cocktail. From the front terrace a small bridge that leads across the lily pond to the unusual shaped pool which has roman steps. Comfortable sun loungers adorn the terraces. To the rear of the pool area we find the BBQ casita. Ideally located this beautifully restored two storey Mallorcan farmhouse is only a few minutes drive from both the old town of Pollenca and the beaches and resorts of both Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollenca. The old town of Pollenca is a few minutes drive and has a wide range of restaurants and tapas bars, beautiful plaza, cobbled streets and interesting boutiques.
