Although our apartments are self-contained our buildings are not. Therefore in line with government guidelines guests must self-certify prior to arrival. This will be required until leisure stays are fully permitted (currently date is 17th May).

In all the hustle and bustle, sometimes you just need an escape. That’s what you can find in Bermonds Locke: an urban oasis close enough to the hustle and bustle if you fancy it, but a destination in itself if you just want to be.

Find Bermonds Locke nestled between two of the most vibrant local parts of London. To one side of the hotel you have Bermondsey Street: home to some of the city’s best restaurants and bars, as well as most prolific galleries (White Cube, Fashion & Textile Museum).

On the other side, meander through the cobbled streets of Shad Thames (5 mins) and Maltby Street Market (less than a 5-minute walk) – the smaller, slightly more charming younger sister of Borough Market (15-minute walk). Walk 10 minutes up the road and you land on Tower Bridge where you can take a left turn to the Tower of London or turn right and explore St. Katherine’s Docks (there are some lovely pubs here).
